A Yorkshireman by birth, I spent much of my childhood in God’s Own County where my family lived. I have worked for most of my professional life as a charity worker and before entering politics served as a Special Constable. I often volunteer at a homeless soup kitchen and litter picking in my neighbourhood.
It is time for change in Donny. It breaks my heart to see how successive Labour MPs and Councils have neglected Doncaster for decades. They have taken our community for granted and failed to stand up for our town. When elected I will campaign to make sure Doncaster is not treated as Sheffield’s forgotten little brother and gets its fair share of investment. Only the Conservatives will get Brexit done and we can then focus on things that matter. I will fight every day to secure more police to clean up our town centre, more investment for flood defences to protect us from a repeat of recent events, funding to upgrade the DRI, and to attract more businesses to relocate to Doncaster.
I am also a primary school governor and volunteer with a charity that takes people with disabilities on holiday. I am a local councillor and a council’s Lead for Policing, and am ready to hit the ground running for a better Doncaster.
